Maya is an Indian Philosophical Concept that means “illusion”. It is a construct of thought. This construct is built to be different from the real world. and environment we are hidden from seeing.

Maya creates everything we know and see, but in some way, it restrict our vision. we have skin, so we can feel something being either hard or soft. We have eyes, so we can see the beauty. The world we perceive is seen through a lens, and this lens is maya. Maya allows us to see the world where we distinguish between sadness and happiness, but without the filter, they are inseparable. Maya has some properties that make us see and feel the world in its way.
